The pieces are made of high fire clay and glazes. They're
durable, non-toxic and completely safe to use. They work
great and the holes going through average about 1/8 inches
in diameter giving them a nice draw and making them very
easy to clean. The glaze on the end gives a nice smooth
glassy feel to the lip.
I've been working with ceramics over 35 years and have
been making these for about 19 years up in the mountains of
Santa Cruz, California. They've been test marketed and are
top sellers at my quality art shows and in many smoke shops
around the country.

Quality check
Before shipping I do a full quality check on each piece. I run
sticks through the insides making sure they're clean and the
right size. I visually inspect both sides of the design making
sure there are no defects like cracks, chips, glaze problems,
etc.
